Microsoft still kicks everyone’s tail in the the office applications market. If they released iPad optimized versions that could be used in the enterprise and healthcare industries, as well as for personal use, at around $10 per app, with cloud storage/sync… they would IMHO kill Apple’s office software offerings on their own device. I’m assuming Apple would delay that App Store approval as long as possible.

You’ve got to feel bad for the guy. First, sitting out half the season for a DUI, then embarrassing himself in front of a national TV audience. Oh and uh… 2.5 million YouTube views and counting!

I have to admit, I’m an American Idol junkie. Not just the episodes that are funny because people suck so bad, but also the ones that are on now, where you see some talented people start to shine. A couple of these people start singing and I literally get goosebumps. I love seeing the true artist come out in people you’ve never heard or seen before.
I’m considering moving my own blog erikankrom.com to Tumblr instead. I agree that we are all drowning in communication tools, so the easiest thing to drop is what takes the longest.
I could make the same argument about Cerner’s Millennium core application suite, which is in my opinion an engineered product, not a designed product.
